Like the purchase, our sale of our home was perfect. The work Brooke put in pre market (helping stage, paint, landscape) ensured we sold fast and over asking, and that we did. In total, over 50 showings, 11 offers and sold for $50K over asking, all in a weekend. And none of this would have happened without Brooke and her team’s guidance and support! Brooke Murdock helped us with an out of state move during a very difficult time for home buyers in the spring of 2021. She helped us navigate this difficult situation with her knowledge and expertise. From our first call, Brooke was very up front with the challenges we would face, but that she would help us until we found the house that was right even if it took bit longer. After a few offers, we eventually had an offer accepted on a house we love in the perfect location. We did not have the opportunity to see our house in person before purchasing, and we had the utmost confidence in Brooke to be our eyes on the ground. I had many questions, and Brooke spent the time to talk me through any concern that came up, and she never pressured us to move ahead if we did not feel 100% comfortable. Brooke took the time to point out very minor damage such as a tiny stain on the carpet or small crack a tile, just to ensure there were no surprises when we arrived at our new home. We moved from Texas so we knew basically nothing about life in California and local house market. We were going blindly to open houses to get into it, still without an agent, and at one high end open house we met Nicolas, owner of Jonville team. He was so kind to us that we decided to go with his team – we got Brooke Murdock as our agent. From the very beginning she carefully listened to our little weird “MUST-have”. Not like other agents pushing some standard “what all people love”. She understood what we wanted and never pushed us even though we were house hunting for many months. I appreciate that she was always there when we needed. For showings and later when we put an offer and the marathon full of stress began. We were in the buying process over the Thanksgiving and upcoming Christmas.
