PARTICPATION INSTRUCTIONS

IT’S BACK!!!! The Jonville Team will be hosting its 17TH ANNUAL COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE & CHARITY EVENT! We look forward to this community wide event every year…and we hope to see you there!

EVENT DATE AND TIME: Saturday, September 18th, 2021, 7am – 11am. The official start time is 7am, but expect a few shoppers to be early birds. It will end at 11am.

PARTICIPATION DONATION
To participate we ask for a donation of $10. 100% of these donation fees will be donated to the charitable organization Casa De Amparo (www.casadeamparo.org).

ADVERTISING
The Garage Sale event will be heavily advertised on Craigslist, PennySaver Online, Next Door, Facebook Business, Facebook Groups, Instagram, TikTok and day of signage around major crossroads.

SIGNAGE
Please remember that the HOA does not allow us to post garage sale signs within San Elijo Hills and Old Creek Ranch and should you post any, please remember to remove them after the garage sale.

FOR SHOPPERS – DOWNLOAD THE MAP
This is meant to be a fun and safe event. If shopping, please drive with caution and remind other shoppers to do so…children at play!

NEW THIS YEAR – The Jonville Team will upload the shopper map online. Shoppers can visit www.SEHGaragesale.com starting Friday morning to download the map of all the participating homes and list of items for sale.

COVID SAFETY
We ask all shoppers and participants to follow the latest CDC and Local Government covid safety guidelines at the time of the event – including applicable mask mandates.

GATE CODES
Gate codes (provided by the HOA, will be active for the event only) will be posted at the gates in gated communities. We have had situations where gate codes had been removed during the event, if this happens, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to replace (Text to 760-207-7130 or 760-470-0302).

We have included a list below of 2 charities, for which you can schedule your donation pick-up times/dates. You might have another organization of choice, but please remember that participants are responsible for calling and scheduling their own donation pick-up. Again, we encourage you to do this as soon as possible as we have a lot of participants.
